        If you look to the lower left of the Head of the comet you can see a piece that broke off of the main comet.

           This image was taken during a bright moon, low in the western horizon, and clouds rolling in and out. 

 

                            Equipment:    StarLight SXV-H9 CCD camera, Meade 12" GPS scope, Optec NexGen WideField 0.5X F/R.

                            Filters:           None

                            Binning:         2X2

                            Times:           L 1 min, Total of 1 min.
