I hope you enjoy seeing these images as much as I enjoyed making them.

For the new person to Astro images these are the things that are visible in the night sky with the help of a telescope or binoculars most are very hard to see with binoculars but with a telescope they are easier to see if you know where to look.

All of the color images except the Aurora Borealis ( Northern Lights) where taken with a 12" Meade telescope. Using a clear filter for Luminous (L) part of the image to give the image more depth and definition. Using a Red (R), Green (G), and Blue (B) filter combining them together to get the color information. 

Sometimes I use a Hydrogen Alpha (HA) filter to help bring out the HA information in some of the images mixing with the red filter or using it as the red filter. The HA filter also blocks out a lot of the moon glow allowing you to take images of some Nebula's when the moon light is to bright to do regular imaging.
